Rachel's Wedding

Last week was Rachel's wedding. Her birthday was Monday and Matt's was on Wednesday.  Oct. 5 is the one day of the year they're the same age, so they've always had this thing about wanting to get married on that day.  This year it happened to be on a Tuesday, so they did their ceremony then and their reception the following Saturday. 

I met Rachel through Dave, actually.  She and her brothers grew up with Dave and his brother.  Their moms were best friends and Rachel's mom passed away a few years ago.  Rachel has continued to be really close with Dave's family and is known as the unofficially adopted child, and, therefore, she's my unofficially adopted sister-in-law. ;-)

Dave's mom did our hair for both the ceremony and the reception.  She did an awesome job; I wish I had taken pics of the backs of our heads!

The ceremony was nice; it was short, and then there was just a brief reception thing after, since the real reception was going to be that weekend.

That weekend, before the reception, we did pictures in the park.  It was sooo nice outside, so that made it even better.
